Our Mission.........

The Indianapolis Symphonic Band, Inc. represents and serves the community by providing year-round, free of charge, accessible band concerts in a variety of venues--indoors and out, to audiences of all ages--throughout the Central Indiana area. It's our mission to promote musical and artistic growth and support continued musical education to our members and our audiences.

George Wolfe Appears as Soloist with the Indianapolis Symphonic Band. 

Saxophonist and Yamaha concert artist George Wolfe has performed extensively throughout the United States and has also concertized in Europe, Cyprus, Costa Rica, Canada, India, Korea and Japan.

Wolfe has also been featured as a soloist with such ensembles as the Royal Band of the Belgian Air Force, the World Band at Disney World, the United States Navy Band Brass Quintet, and the Medalist Concert Band in Minneapolis, the Saskatoon Symphony, and the Chautauqua Motet Choir. 

Join the band for this memorable concert experience. 
Selections to be performed include: “Porgy and Bess Melody,” music by George Gershwin, arranged by Ralph Hermann and “Lightnin,” ragtime music by Rudy Wiedoeft arranged by Jody Nagel.
